Job Description

Great opportunity for an experienced Manager in East London looking for career progression and to join a professional and forward thinking organisation.

This is a setting with opportunity for the manager to really develop the setting and help support this \"good\" nursery to becoming an outstanding nursery.

You will have an opportunity to build on this wonderful environment for the children and staff, focusing on the marketing and business to bring new parents in, produce reports and settle into the business side of the nursery. You will need to be focused, proactive and confident and to be comitted to high standards of care and to building strong relationships with the staff, within the local community in a warm and supportive environment.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • €¢To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education

  • €¢To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention

  • €¢To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable

  • €¢To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times

  • €¢To Implement an effective parent liaison programme. You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • €¢NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent

  • €¢3 years\' post-qualification experience and 2 years minimum of relevant supervisory experience

  • €¢Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines

  • €¢Good time management skills

  • €¢Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation

  • €¢Knowledge of OFSTED standards and EYFS

  • €¢Excellent communication skills

  • €¢Strong people management skills

  • €¢Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc. Excellent rates of pay, bonuses and benefits with ongoing support and career development.
