A major UK bank has a vacancy for a Balance Sheet Control Analyst. It will be working within the Global Banking & Markets finance function, more specifically within the MI production team.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Deliver quarterly submissions to Central Statutory Reporting (CSR) team; including Supplementary Data Packs, manual returns, spot balance sheet commentaries and responding to queries on significant balance sheet month on month fluctuations.
Fully review and analyse 20 Business Units under the Central Balance Sheet team`s ownership.
Complete the Intercompany reporting process - this includes analysis of intercompany P&L and B/S account lines and submitting intercompany data via HCS (Hyperion). Investigating and reconciling intercompany mismatches. Liaising with counterparties to ensure that intercompany variances are resolved efficiently and obtaining timely settlement of intercompany balances.
Complete Legal Entity Recharge process - to ensure costs reported within correct legal entity.
Ensure accurate monthly and YTD costs charged out to GBM by Central Balance Sheet team, accrual review and analysis and other month end journals.
It is ESSENTIAL that candidates are RECENTLY CA/ACA/ACCA qualified, preferably top 4, with no more than 2years worth of experience around the balance sheet or within an MI role. This is a 6-12 month role.
