A fantastic deputy nursery managers role!

This role would be suitable for you if you are a childcare practitioner who is committed to delivering the very best levels of care to all the children in your care. You will need to be full of energy with a dynamic personality and have the ability to offer guidance to your staff team in order to deliver an excellent curriculum and ensure that the children thrive in the environment.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• To support the nursery manager with daily operations of the setting
• To maintain and promote high standards of care
• To effectively lead and motivate the staff team including recruitment and retention
• To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times
• To work in partnership with the parent

You will need the following training and experience:

• An NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3, or equivalent qualification
• EYPS desired but not essential
• Knowledge of the EYFS and the ability to implement it affectively
• Knowledge of OFSTED standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong people management skills
